Question Window Switches - how to replace?

Anyone throw any light on the process of removing and replacing a passenger's window switch in the driver's side cluster on a RHD 91 and the window switch on the passenger door.

Guess they should be the same switch moulding as fitted to US LHD models, except that they will swap handedness.

If originals are not available, is/are there an alternate switch ass'ly that can be used? i.e. from a Legacy or somesuch?

ADD: I've just put a note in with budfreak for his two rear window switches. Should be the same, right?

Many thanks in advance.
Ian

Once the door trim panel has been separated from the door, you can unplug the wiring harness from the power window switches, and you can remove the switch module from the trim panel by undoing 3 screws.

You will see these screws if you look at the bottom side of the power window switch module.

Once the switch module has been removed, the switches can be separated from the rest of the module by undoing the screws on top of the module.

The individual switches can then be removed, but you need to prise them out. Be careful when you do this - they break easily!

Thumbs up Got one

Thanks Jason
Located one only rear window switch locally...to replace the broken passenger side one. Not a tricky task, the module on mine is a press fit, no screws to be removed.
I spent time beforehand hunting through a wrecking yard ....lots of electric window switches...but nothing I could see that might have done as a replacement.
