Rotation?
I just realized that I have put about 4k miles on my new tires ( so I guess they're not so new anymore
 ) but I was wondering if I should be rotating them soon. What does the group think? Rotate at 5k? 10k? There is no more noticeable wear on the fronts than the rear....Just a thought. Thanks.

Is this the kind of rotation I do in my garage with a jack and a tire iron or should it be done profesionally? I don't think it would be a problem if you're just swaping fronts and backs.

I plan on doing it in the 'ol garage myself, I don't see why I couldn't. I will give me a chance to change the rear pads

I check the balance on mine any time I take off a tire.
It does help that my dad has a tire balancer.
