Even though I'm a frustrated NY Yankee fan, I have to say that the Red Sox winning the World Series was good for the sport of baseball overall.

Now all that's left are the Cubs & White Sox.
So come on Chicago!!

My room is filled with nothing but Phillies, Eagles, 76ers, and Flyers jersey's and posters. In 1993 I was there when the Phillies beat the Braves in the NLCS and I can't tell you how happy I was. Then Joe Carter ruined my life. Now baseball is over and I have my Eagles to watch who are still undefeated. I can feel it...this is there year. But we all know nothing matters untill they finally make a super bowl. Hopefully the Phills will make some off season moves like they did last year and have a shot at knockin off the braves for once. Their even talking about hiring Jim Fregosi as manager...the only man in more than 20 yrs to even take us to a world series. The Sox winning is awesome for baseball and I am happy that they won. This was definitley a historic baseball season. Next season will be even more interesting to watch. I think more than next season i think this OFFSEASON will be the most interesting to watch. The yankees most hated rivals just won a world series. I wonder what georgie is gonna do in the off season. Eric Milton from the Phillies is one of the top left handed free agents and i know the sox and yanks will be going after him. The Phillies probably wont be able to match anything they have to offer. One can only hope tho....

me neither. and i can just about see the stadium from where i live here in STL....mighty depressing!

though i said going in no matter who wins, i'll be happy for them. def happy that boston ended their curse...just sorry to see the cards get trampled like that. i believe there was a sign at the stadium last night that said "will the real cardinals report and play the game?"

Looks like the Phillies are going to interview Jim Leyland on Monday morning. Allready met with Jim Fregosi. I think Leyland is the frontrunner though. How excited would the phills be to get him. We also have 6 free agents this year. Kevin Millwood is on his way out. Eric Milton will probably get picked up by the yankees or red sox. Phillies need a center fielder.....time to go after beltran!

Even way out west there's Red Socks fanatics....I am one. It was so great to watch them beat 1st the Yankees...then the Cards. I hope they do it twice...in a row!
