Smoked a Neon and didn't know it.

Yes, they run 15s stock. With drag slicks (otherwise stock) they'll run 15.2s-15.4s, but outta the box they run 15.6ish. With a few bolt ons they're in 13-14 seconds.... with a turbo they're running 11s-13s somewhere, and yes, that 9 second car is an all out drag car, but it's FWD, uses a neon engine, and a neon body. It's not a tube framed RWD pretend neon with a V8.

PS: Sohcs run high 15s low 16s (good driver) to mid 16s (bad driver). Automatics run 17s and slower.

Hmm, not bad. Too bad they can't go faster than like 125MPH.

Yes they can. Regular neons are speed limited at 118, R/Ts are speed limited at 125, and early ACRs didn't have a speed limiter, but they run out of steam at about 130.

Ok so except for the ACR's they can't do more than 125MPH, as long as I'm the highway I 'm safe.

What about the SRT4's, what's their top speed?
