How does the ABS sensor come out?

I'm in the middle of replacing my rear wheel bearing and am trying to take off the hub and the ABS sensor. But i can't seem to loosen, unscrew, or how ever it may come out, out. I have read that PB is a good lubricant to aid me in this procedure but what is PB?
Thanks

Someone (Beav?) had suggested using a chisel to wedge it up.
Tried it on the front and it worked like a charm!

PB Blaster is a penetrating lubricant. You can get it at your local auto store.

Significant Technical Input
If worse comes to worse you can always follow the other end to the connector and unplug the sensor. It might seem like a pain to do it this way but it's a lot cheaper than $100+ .

BE CAREFUL.

you need to be GENTLE with the ABS sensors or else you'll be greeted with a nice little warning light next time you start the car.

just a warning

I think I mentioned a while back that I used a chisel. Perhaps others have also. A narrow sharp chisel worked well for me. Use a little PB Blaster, and then tap the chisel in between the brake backing plate and the ABS sensor mounting tab. Do a little at a time going from one side to the other so as to rock it back and forth as you get the chisel in between the ABS mounting tab and the brake backing plate. Eventually, you should be able to just pull it out.

I suggest that you coat the ABS sensor with some anti-seize when you put it back into the brake backing plate. May make removal easier if you ever have to pull the rear knuckle off again.

Well it's just not coming out. What would happen if I twisted it? Would I brake anything?

If you can grip it without damaging it, you can certainly try twisting it. However, I think that if you can get a wedge between the ABS sensor plate and the disk brake packing plate, you should be able to get it to come loose.
