FWD Differential needed

My diff blew up and I need to buy a FUNCTIONING one. It doesn't matter if its 3.70 3.90 4.11 or 4.44

Didnt you just have 4.44's put in for the only FWD to have 4.44's I am sorry that happened.

Yeah I did. Unfortunately there was a leak somewhere that I couldn't find. Then a week ago it just blew out, here's the pic

im guessing the shop gave them a good enough price on labor?? I have a 3.545 stock AWD front diff here if you need it... Free of charge just pick it up... call me tomorrow

BTW I HIGHLY doubt that was because it was low on oil... I have seen one and heard of another 4.44 front diff breaking the case in the past... Might not have been a good match to put it in a FWD

I mean was it really a bad match up or is it just bad luck? I wouldn't mind them after awhile and fix other stuff but not if they blow up quick

When I talked to Tom he brought up a good point. He told me that my 4.44 wasn't the first to blow up. He knows of two other people's 4.44s blowing up, and they were AWD. So it might just be that the 4.44s can't handle all of the torque put out by our engines through AWD, let alone FWD.

Though they were nice while it lasted, but I think it's time for a 5 speed
