as there is no way of insuring that a used one is "100% perfect", you're better off buying a new one...

You can buy a rebuilt waterpump for $51.45&tax, from Car Quest.
Why would you want to buy a used one?

And you can buy a brand new one from Subaru for less than $100.

Call Liberty Subaru (888-782-9493) or one of the other discount dealers...

I have still got the pump and idler if you want them. I replace a 37k water pump on Dan's car as preventative maint. THis pump is still in great shape... And like the others... which idler do you need

As my name implies, I am a noob to the internal makings of an svx. I didn't realize there was a difference between idler pulleys. I'm still not sure which one this is, if anyone can identify it.

What is written around the inside is:
JAPAN KOYO DDGI060ARDIH (The I's may actually be 1's...you can't tell)

also, Tom I am interested in the used water pump if its still in great shape.

That looks like an idler and not the tensioner... I will send the water pump and idler to you as soon as I get an adress to send it to. Since Dansvx94 had left the pump with me... it is yours for free. I will also give you the idler as well. Just shoot me a pm with your adress and do me a favor. Donate $20 or so to the network so we can keep this place alive

Tom
