Not this time Bill. This one actually drives nicely according to John (svxcess) and Ron. It is the low mileage '95 L AWD in the For Sale section. One owner, 31,xxx miles. I'm excited!

Dave, probably right below zygotes Now you've got me thinking that we should draw up a "SVX Racing Evolution" figure -Bill (never was very interested in biology while in school, but gets to work with real scientists on a daily basis now )

and looking back, what did you give up...like 4 seconds to the SVT? What does that guy have done ot his Focus? There was a kid running an SVT at my last auto-X and his was S/Ced and riding on Konis and lower springs. He got with in a few 10th of me but I stayed ahead. (well would have if not for my +1sec on my last runs )
And damn them Minis

Jesse,
Couple of things: 1. I was "only" ~2.5 seconds behind the Sentra, and it's a SE-R version that has had its entire suspension reworked to go with its R-Comp tires and very experienced driver (he's been autoX'ing for years and this is really only my first full year of driving). I've gotten within less than a second of him in previous events....but that was before I made some major changes to my car that I'm just now dialing back in 2. The SVT is actually a fairly competitive GS car. Harry's (NewSVX) son was driving one in the MB autoX events and winning the GS class on a regular basis. It also has a very experienced driver behind the wheel - note that Ian Baker (one of the local SCCA instructors) and a National-level driver in CSP got behind the wheel and tore things up having never driven the car before. I'm really looking forward to next season, after having a full season of driving experience. -Bill (already starting to think whether next season will be ESP or E Prepared )

Well OK, sorry about that 6 sec. thing. (now where did I read that? )
Well I was very impressed with how well the SVT handled, On his last run he really pushed the car and thought he had a bad run becouse of how it was pushing through some of the corners, but it was his only run the 37sec mark. So I think with a few more runs he would have been getting alot faster. I noticed that a little plowing isn't so bad eaither, my one run where the car pushed through one of the corners I thought was gonna be a bad run, but it was faster. So I just kept pushing it harder and learning where I could let it strart to push so that I would still stay in the corner. It dosn't feel as fast as going through sidways but it is. I noticed you turned the Konis back up.
