Jesse, thank you for your premonition to drink to me...or for me...or something. It was great to get calls from John Hoffman and Doug Mohr, offering their condolences. . . uhm, happy thoughts. Matt. I'm crushed. But, I understand. I suppose if I plied you with cheap wine, I'd be number one on your list. Earl, don't be paranoid -- just because you are, don't mean everyone is out to get you. I had a nice steak dinner. My wife actually stood out in the rain and grilled the steaks. She's a keeper. Pinapple Upside Down Cake (one of my very favorites) as a birthday cake with two candles: one in the shape of a 5 the other in the shape of a 0. We've already had to call the volunteer fire department once this year. No need for a return visit. A nice white zinf, to wash down the steak. Afterwards, the traditional opening of cards and presents. Mostly cards, since I'd already gotten my one big present (Dell 2005FPW Monitor ).Now, I think I'll put my 50 year old butt to bed -- after I have a shot of fine Kentucky Bourbon -- wouldn't want to disappoint Ron. Again, thank you all for the good wishes. I don't feel a year over ... 90.
