Temp indicator illumination ?

Can someone tell me if only the "red" arrow should be illuminated, or BOTH the blue and the red ?

If both, where is the bulb located, and how could it be replaced ?

Lights

Both should light up, burnt bulb or LED light. I don't know how to take the HVAC control out, might want to ask someone else.

You're question got me thinking, so when I backed the SVX into the garage earlier today I remembered to look at it.

Both the up/red and down/blue arrows are faintly illuminated on my '94. Sorry, but I don't have a clue how to take it apart, but if you've only got one lit, there must be some kind of bulb/LED behind it.

Good Luck.

Only the red arrow is illuminated, not the blue, but the control works just fine so maybe I should leave it alone.

I have tried to pry on the sides of the round plastic thing, making it pop off, but the only thing that happened was my screwdriver leaving tiny marks on the plastic

I never knew they were supposed to be red and blue until my first svx meet. A previous owner must have replaced bulbs and lost the colored film in mine - both are illuminated white.
