Why do you guys always think that a CF part should always stay CF? It will not look good on the SVX, ever!

The trunk is something worth looking at, so as the hood.

I have personally lifted a CF hood for the STi once... oh man I could swear holding it using only two fingers!

The doors cannot be done, at least cheaply.

He's having fun, we have a couple of cars we have fun with.
I'm not sure what you mean, "a CF part should stay CF"?
I'm good with CF hoods and trunks being CF, and painted body color.

A CF intake, that's weight saving in the right spot, and hood too, great.

I'm a believer in lightening the SVX block. No one can see that

Re: Aftermarket Rear Swaybar - Aerospace Style.

About to start work on my intake manifold. The car is going to bed on Tuesday, so I can take the stock manifold off and get the final dimensions I need to get to work. I'm also just about ready to fire up the CNC mill and cut some trial flanges out of arborite. Once that's worked out I can order up some aluminum billet and cut the real thing. There will be a thread about this soon.

The swaybar still hasn't cracked.

Re: Aftermarket Rear Swaybar - Aerospace Style.

All good as far as I know, I haven't driven the car in 5 months.

I have fairly conclusive evidence at this point that it's not as stiff as Nevin's bar though. I haven't broken my stock links . That's okay though, the coilovers make up for it.

I feel bad for you northy people. I get to use my SVXes year-round.

I wouldn't expect it to be as stiff as Nevin's bar, but it is cool that it works at all. I am more curious as to whether it would split apart after a while or something. But if you haven't used the car much since you got it on there...
