Did some work to the house yesterday. SWEET!!
Well, all was not well in gingerbread land. My garage door opener was broken, so the door wouldn't even open. It had sprinkled a LOT the last few nights too, so I didn't want to park the car outside. Lucky for me a neighbor had an extra garage so I parked there.
Anyway, the first thing to do was to fix the garage door. After a few hours of tinkering, and a new opener from sears, the door finally worked!  Then I decided that it would be a good time to put up the christmas lights while I was out there anyway, so here's a shot of them on the house!  And my dad gave me a new picnic table a while back and we hadn't moved it onto the deck yet, so I figured we should go ahead and do that as well. No picnic table:  Yes picnic table:  So, all in all I think I got plenty done for the day and now all is well on gumdrop lane. I'll probably go hang out at my girlfriend's house now. After all, it is right next door.

Gum drop ridge vents... unconventional, but I like it.
Not sure that rear window meets egress code, though! -- Oh, I am totally diggin' the fentzels.
