Should I save the dash

Just wondering if I should save the whole dash or just certain parts, before it goes to the crusher.

Re: Should I save the dash

If there's a back story here I don't know it, but if you've got an SVX that has a date with a crusher I suggest you save ANYTHING that could be salvaged and sold, or sell/give the car to somebody who will. These cars are too scarce to let usable parts go to waste.

+1 Agreed.

Re: Should I save the dash

Didn't "sicksubie" just get his silver cars roof crushed during the ice storm. I am sure he could use the sunroof and maybe even the head liner. If I were you I would PM him and offer it at the cost of shipping. He had no insurance either. Maybe he can use your whole roof?

Plus, there must be more parts on there then just the three you mentioned unless you really did a good job of stripping it.

If "sicksubie" does not want them it I were you and space permits I would save the dash and sunroof anyway as there will come a post with someone wanting them eventually.

As mentioned these cars are too rare to just crush good usable parts.

I agree. You should get everything out / off of it you can.

Re: Should I save the dash

Dash and all the wiring behind it... This comes in handy for people doing swaps... Esp. someone that wants an OBDII swap for emissions on a late model car

Re: Should I save the dash

OK, thanks, I planned on saving the entire dash or selling it anyway. Entire dash is still in, minus the radio/cd ashtray, cig. lighter, etc. Rear beige side panels are out, as are door panels. Carpet is still in as is sunroof and headliner. I left the doors on until I could gut out the interior.
