WTB (ASAP):Front suspension TOP HATS

Yep, my drivers side one is SHOT... I looked at the local dealer and the price for both of them is nearly $200!! I just don't have that much $ at the moment and was wondering if anyone here had an extra "new" set (or almost new) laying around that they'd like to get rid of... If so, please let me know ASAP...

Thanks very much..

~ Chris

You use stock mounts for your koni?

Have you heard about people using uraethane on the old engine
mounts to help and cut down the vibrations? (it works great)
If so, I'm thinking but do you think the uraethane will work on
your shot strut mounts? If it works, save a lot of money.

Won't help if it's the bearing that's shot....

Chris,
I don't think I have any laying around...but try to get ahold of "gotsubarus" he's in NC, and most likely has one for you.

Hey Huck
Not wishing to hijack 'Marine's thread [sorry Chris] but I'm feeling all 4th of July happy since the calendar turned over to your Yellow machine this month.

Cool colour, like a ray of sunshine

Joe

Yeah, I might give Shane a call... Only problem being is that when things go wrong or break on the car I like to replace them with new parts... So I am really looking for new parts mainly... However, since I do put atleast 300 miles on it a week nowadays I might not be picky in a few days... The noise is getting louder so I think that bearing is totally shot... ... I might take my car up to the local machinist and see if he can take a chunk of aluminum and make me one identical to the stock one... then I'd never have to replace it again... I'd just have to see if it were possible to get the bearing put in one that is made out of aluminum...

Yeah, that's what Subaru of Gwinnett, in Georga wanted to charge me... As well as Southern States Subaru here in Raleigh, and Performance Subaru in Chapel Hill... I was just hoping someone had some laying around that were new or almost new... Thanks though
