strange happenings
So I was working in my car today, it was parked on a perfectly flat surface in my garage. It had been off for several minutes, but when I shifted the auto tranny into gear (any gear other than park) the car moved forward at a rate of almost a foot every two seconds. I just thought it was so strange this car wants to move when even when it's off. Anyone know what might cause this?

Obviously the tires on the rear of your car are taller than the front tires, thereby causing the car to continuously roll down-hill.

Hold it..... So do you mean to tell me that if we put taller tires on the rear of the racer, it will go faster????
Seriously though... my guess is that the cooling fans were still on and pulled the car forward

lol, actually my garage faces north and my tires on the front are taller and NM is truley devoid of ninjas.
I don't know what kind of crazy car would want to go out into that blistering NM sun either. But then again we already knew our cars were crazy, just not posessed.

As the car was parked inside the garage and had been recently running allow me to suggest that the heat from the radiator passed through the grille and into the air in front of the car, thus creating a low pressure zone into which the heavier air at the rear of the car pushed it into.
Seen it happen countless times.... ain't physics wonderful? BTW, where is Lee, our resident physicist/rocket scientist?
