wow - thread is so old I changed careers.
I work for a major tire manufacturer in the truck tire division. I make sure we put them together right so they don't bounce, thump, shake, pull, or blow apart.

Yeah the thread is really old but I havn't posted my job either.
When I first got my SVX, I had money. I worked for the Maryland Relay where I would relay calls for deaf people using IP relay or a TTY machine and made PLENTY of money. Then, my ex girlfriend caused me to go slightly insaine and I had to quit. So now I work at a place called the "Dept. of Housing and Community Devolpment" where I "assist" people who may be behind in their mortgages or having problems paying their mortgages.. Lord... I hate my job. Much less money too..

When this thread first started I had barely been out of the USAF for 30 days after 8 years of Aircraft Pnuedraulic (Air Force word for Hydraulic/Pneumatic) Systems Maintenance / In-flight refueling systems repair. I got out as an E-5 Staff Seargent.
I am now on a 3 person PC Architecture Team where we build/update computer images, package/deploy software, write documentation, and manage SCCM (SMS) for a Real Estate Investment Trust (AIMCO). I have been in IT since my departure from the USAF and have done it all from Help Desk to Network Administration.

daily newspaper editor. Right now I lay out and design the sports section every night but in the past I have worked as a reporter, auto editor, national news page design....

Freelance automotive journalist. Seem to work mainly for trade magazines that no one's heard of, but it pays the bills, sort of. Degree in Journalism from Cal State Northridge, 1964.
