For Sale 97
It has been a beautiful car for me, but I now spend 2/3s of my time in Mexico and having loved 2 SVX's in my life, I simply can't have it just sit there. It is a 97 with just under 100K miles on it. I will confess, I have been hit 3 times in it - twice from the rear and once from the side. I had it professionally repaired each time and have sensed no mechanical effects whatsoever. It is burgundy with beige interior. As there were so few 97s made, but with 3 accidents I really do not know what to ask for it and would appreciate any insights or suggestions. better price it high enough to keep kids or the vanagon crowd from trashing it...which is almost the now gauranteed outcome on most since most are priced too cheap.

Should still hold some value even with the accidents as long as the work was done well. Good luck with the sale. Pictures, a location and a detailed description usually help move things a long. KellyBluebbok would be a good place to start for pricing.

From the limited information supplied I would make a really rough guess of between $5500 to $6500. The carfax car will show the multiple accidents.
Things like major or recent maintenance done, maintenance records, condition of tires and brakes, etc., all affect the price. The fact that it is a rust-free Texas car is a plus. Here is an example of an almost-perfect 95 with less than 75,000 miles and no accidents that was sold here. Finally went for $7,400.00.
