Damn bad luck, Don! Really hate to hear it. And I must admit that I have never heard of that particular bearing going out either.

If you and Jean would like to ride with me on any of the "SVX" runs, please free to do so. I would be happy to have you along!

But at least you are coming! Really looking forward to seeing you and meeting Jean.
Harry

Free lift....

Thanks for the offer Harry! At least we wouldn't have to bring up the rear by being in the Impreza.... Looking forward to seeing you again; for Jean, the first time!

Don,

I just read your post re the carrier bearing. I am sorry that your SVX will not be comingto the Meet but glad that you and Jean will be attending. It will give us all a chance to take apart an Impreza and hopefully get it back together again with no parts left over. You can blame your SVX's misfortune on Aredub. The Meet Monster was frightened away when it saw Aredub in zebra stiped bikini briefs, mactching stilleto pumps and mid-calf black socks with a big leering smile on his face. The Meet Monster did'nt stop runing till he was in W Va.

Larry III
PS: Ask Jean to bring the gun, just in case.

Don,
Thanks for not being discouraged enough to stay home. I can't believe the darned luck and the freakin' "Meet Monster's" rampant wanderings -- he's hitting everywhere.

The way I see it, though is, "it's someone else's turn, darn it."

And I'll say this -- The sumbich better not come near me, or, I'll hit 'im with a possum!!!!

<It will give us all a chance to take apart an Impreza and hopefully get it back together again with no parts left over>

Since the Impreza belongs to Jean, she has decided to pack her firearm.....just in case someone puts their cotton pickin' paws on her beloved Subie.

It would not be a pretty sight..... Don

Revision

Jean has decided not to cross state lines with a firearm.

Instead she will bring her nightstick.

The original CLUB!

Drive safe everyone and see you in Lafayette!

WV III planning

I don't think it is too early to start thinking about WV III.

The eastern panhandle area has been kicked around as a possible area. (I will have to check on the fall foilage timing)
John thinks Harpers Ferry is too crowded in October for that very reason, but there are other good places nearby we could look into.

When everyone recovers from "Lafayette hangover", please post some ideas and comments!

Possible hotel?

Shepherdstown is even deeper into the Md/Va/area than B. Springs, and very close to some scenic drives/history and good food. Here is a possible watering hole...

http://www.clarionshepherdstown.com/directions.html

There are other places, like the Bavarian Inn, but they are very expensive.

Svxcess/newsvx/ron/rufus etc. help me out here. Would this be a good location? When would be a good time? Don
