New and Improved
Well those of you who were at Reading noticed the most horrible paintjob EVER on my car. The whole from clip was dryand orange peeled and the back half was single satged with no shine. Well i've been doing some resto work to make it ready for the next Reading so here are some pics so far.
In sealer  Basecoat  Clearcoat    2-tone tricoat black. The camera doesn't show how heavy the flake really is.

How many basecoats and clearcoats have you applied?

Well I did 3 coat of black, 2 coats of the metallic midcoat, 3 coats of red and 2 good wet coats of clear. I used PPG Deltron 2000 for my basecoats and PPG Concept DBC 2021 clear.

I never knew your cars old look but that looks fantastic. What/ where/ how did you do that? Alone in your garage with plastic everywhere and a mask on? Do you just use a standard compressor? (nevermind your a pro huh?)
I want to go white/black two tone on mine. Why do SVXs look so sexy with black tops, Damn! Post some final pictures!

I painted it at my work in the Paint booth. I think a black metallic 2 tone white or silver would also be awsome.

Well I got most of it put together but still need some bumper bolts, clips, and those damn expensive rear garnish clips. Will post pics when they come in. Also will in the midst of things painting the bumpers and such late last night I somehow forgot to paint my driverside handle and both outside mirrors. I'm going to do these Monday.

I got it all put together and driving it now. Just waiting on the last of the bolts/clips, still have to paint the handles and mirrors and then it's completely done. I'll take some pics on Saturday when it's sunny out. I'm still deciding on the color for the mirrors because there are black one on now and it doesn't look bad but red wouldn't either.
