Exclamation Snowshoe III - AKA Brakeshoe I

OK, mid-Atlantic & easterners, back by popular demand is SNOWSHOE III; only this year it's gonna be in Virginia, which is REAL CLOSE to West Virginia (the real McCoy). In fact the location is only about an hour & a half from Baltimore and the DC areas, & about an hour south of Chambersburg, PA, and some of us will actually have to drive THROUGH West Virginia (the real McCoy) to get to beautiful, scenic, historic WINCHESTER, VA, home of many Civil War battles, I'm sure; & more importantly, on SUNDAY NOVEMBER THIRD, the season's last AUTOCROSS sponsored by the Benz-Boys 'n Girls, & home to Harry's monthly humiliation, & humbling of SVX Wannabes. I haven't worked out any details for activities Saturday the 2nd, nor where to stay overnight IF we get enough attendance commitments from the group.

So.....at this time, I guess we need to know how many devotees we can count on to make the trip, & how many would like to make it a two day affair. Any suggestions from West Verginny-ites (the real McCoys) as to nice scenic drives in the area, are welcome. Hey, what with global warming & all, maybe a few leaves will still be showing their colors.

Let the sign up begin!

If you'd just get those leaves raked up, maybe we could pitch tents in your back yard. For those less adventuresome, Harry mentioned a Shoneys at Rt7 & I-81 that was reasonable. Let's see how many folks are going to show up.

Ron.

Come on Larry, I agree, 'possum ain't as tasty as crab, but you get used to it. Oh, well.

So where are all you West Virginny SVXers? This could be your last chance to get together before you're snowed in until April.

Exclamation

OK, folks - Harry says come rain, snow or hurricane, the autocross goes on & he'll be there. A few have said "count me in" but haven't expressed any opinions as to a Saturday get-together. So.... let's do this - Come one & all to the Sunday November 3rd autocross at James Wood High School, Winchester, VA. Those of you who would like to meet somewhere Saturday (Harpers Ferry?), rent a room near Winchester for the night, & take a drive somewhere, please post a response or PM me.
There MUST be some of you guys who can put off de-yellowing your headlights for one day & join in to watch Harry whup up on Benz butt!

Ron.

Do I take this Limey rambling to be an affirmative? That is, to a Saturday promenade as well? Please clarify your full intent, Sir Donald, & I shall seek accomodations befitting one of obvious good breeding. (Hey - Ethyl. Git them pillercases turn't inside-out. We got some uppity Wes'verginny wannabes stayin' over).

Ron.
