EGR Valve No Start
My car ran great until Tuesday morning when it wouldn't start. The engine cranks just fine, but it doesn't fire. I've checked the battery and charged it to rule that out. Pulled codes today and I am getting a Code 56 for the EGR. I checked as much of the vacuum hoses around the EGR as I can get my arm in there. Is it possible to replace the EGR without removing the engine??
Cheers!

Re: EGR Valve No Start
I may be wrong but I don't think an EGR code will cause a no start. Did you check for fuel & spark?

Re: EGR Valve No Start
i've had an EGR code for months and it hasn't caused me a single issue (minus an annoying CEL occasionally). maybe it's not throwing the correct code or no code at all?
