Re: anyone else drink alcohol when they are sick?

I bet that none of you drink alcohol when he is sick. I bet that you sit in bed like wounded puppies and wait for your mommies/wifes/gfs to come and bring you healthy food and ORANGE JUICE

From my side I eat well, stay home, stop the booze and take my vitamins C.

Stop showing off guys, you are really just too EGO-istic to admit it

I had that same theory for awhile, but after about six months of research (and I dont mean trying to get sick and then drink, I'm talking about real studies here) it was found that the amount of alcohol you would need to drink to kill any virus or bateria would actually kill you of alcohol poisoning long before it would be in enough concentration to do away with enough organism to make you healthy again.
Well.. that wont stop me from drinking my "medicines"

Cool! Another excuse to drink!

Re: anyone else drink alcohol when they are sick?

Thought I would let you all in on my reason for being late for work today. I thought, no more alcohol tonight, I'll watch TV. Dry mouth beckoning I headed for our chiller rack in the new kitchen (you don't want to know how we ended up with a bottle chiller). Appletizers, which the wife drinks, will have to do. Not having my reading glasses, and the bottle having a screw top, I enjoyed a bottle of this stuff.
Funny how I never liked it before but, so what, maybe they changed the taste, or it was diet Appletizer? In the cold sober light of morning however, I looked at the empty bottle - Chardonnay 13.5%......
I only hope I can distinguish between Perrier and Vodka in future - or do I?
Stevek.

Thumbs up Re: anyone else drink alcohol when they are sick?

Only a biker!

Spectacular story.

Now I've heard the lot Steve.

Safety glasses, work glasses, sports glasses, sun glasses, driving glasses and reading glasses.

Now............

Drinking glasses?

Yep, I lose mine regularly as well.

Top notch story.

Joe
