Re: Hangover Prevent/recovery
Eat a good sized meal with meat and bread before you start drinking. Don't mix drink types (or at least limit it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7g0AJPqKybs) DO NOT drink anything red or orange because if you throw up you won't may not know if it's blood or the drink, better not have to be freaking out. Drink water after every 2 drinks of alcohol. I have found the drink Rehab good if you have a hangover. Energy drinks may work almost as well too. If you have a hangover though, drinking more in the morning often makes it better because a hangover is your body going through withdrawls from the alcohol, so if you give it what it wants it can help, so keep a cold beer handy for the morning!
Please drink responsibly and don't drink and drive (you might spill it)

Re: Hangover Prevent/recovery
Yep water is the #1 hangover killer, most of a hangover is dehydration and alcohol withdrawl. Down a gatorade when you wake up along with a shot of your fav hard liquor.... or try "hangover helper"..... they sell it at most convenience stores and pharmacies.
And stay out of trouble! |

Re: Hangover Prevent/recovery
I find the best way to beat a hangover is to R&R a pedal box in an SVX... Nothing like hanging upside down in a confined area for extended periods of time
Seriously though, I read about a study that was done and they said the best cure for a hangover is bacon.... Seriously, something about the grease from bacon helps settle the stomach and may help w/ the headache too Tom |

Re: Hangover Prevent/recovery
Popsicles, especially orange ones seem to work well.
I go with the 'hair of the dog that bit you" theory myself. Beer, beer and more beer! I walked a couple of miles down a frozen river at 3:00am and made a bonfire and I feel great right now. Last edited by Blacky; 01-01-2010 at 05:37 PM. |

I will say that I didn't have much of a hangover. Surprising since I did a lot of shots and mixed different types of alcohol.
