Because you people are 'family'.

I am asking the 'Believers' here to help out.

OK, not 'car' related but.... What happens with the cars is directly related to what else is going on.
This is not an attempt to 'convert' anyone. It is a 'PLEA' for the believers to join hands and PRAY for Devine Intervention!

If the moderators wish to delete, I will understand.

I am at my 'limits'.. I NEED help!

My wife has been under so much stress that it is 'Stealing her Joy'.
Her Mom's condition causes her a lot of stress, both watching the effects of Alzheimers, and the resulting additional care that is required.
It's sort of like caring for another child. A large child with an 'attitude'.
Our former 'living room has been converted to a bedroom, so her Mom doesn't have to go up steps to get to the food or potty.
By time I get home and build a fire to warm up the 'new' livingroom, the wife is ready for bed.
The stress spills over into other parts of her life, and was, in part, why the daughter seeks shelter away from here.

As far as our 'needs' go, the Lord has Blessed us with 'enough' to get through it all.
Our biggest need is for PEACE to settle here and cause my wife to relax. She works so hard. I am not here all the time because I have to earn a living, cut firewood, maintain the buildings and cars, etc.

Please, PRAY for PEACE to find my wife! Ask the Lord to restore her 'JOY'!! She is a good woman! She needs your help here.

Thank you!

Re: Because you people are 'family'.

My mom just went thru all this, before my grandmother finally passed away with dementia.... and my girlfriend is dealing with somewhat the same circumstances down in OC..... so although I have no worthy advice, you can be assured that I do understand where you are right now.

I hope things get better soon!

They take care of us, then we take care of them.

Beats putting them on a shelf and letting strangers take care of them.

HOWEVER, It's still a LOT of WORK!!

This is a tough row to hoe!
'We' have been dealing with this for over 5 years.
It has gotten a lot worse over the last 2.
Could be why we don't get too far from home.

Re: Because you people are 'family'.

Some of you know that I had to move in with my Mom last may thru the end of july when she broke her arm. Well, she broke her leg in November. She is going to be released from the rehab center on Dec 22nd.
My brother has made the necessary 'adjustments' to his house to take her there this time. I hope that she decides to 'winter' there! Otherwise, I will be moving back home again.
I did enjoy the time in the 'home place', but all the tools and cars were here.

My Mom is 90 and Mother-in-law is 89. My Mom is still sharp as a tack!
She went dancing on monday, bowling on tuesday, and was on her way to Choir practice thursday when she fell.
My sister had just paid for a new bowling ball for Mom for Christmas 2 days before she fell!

What kind of NUTT buys a bowling ball for a woman's 91 Christmas??

I really believe that Mom will be USING it this summer! Her 'Faith' is as strong as her determination!

I have been 'Blessed' with this womans GENES!!

Keep up the good work! I actually heard my wife LAUGH for the first time in weeks tonite!! It's WORKING!!

You will definitely be in our prayers Sounds like my grandmother had some of the same genes, she'd be 80 something if she were still with us, but she finally lost her battle with cancer in 1996. Pop pop is still kicking though, he'll be 93 in June, but he has dementia pretty bad, even though he's still pretty mobile! Don't worry man, you'll get through it, there is nothing out there that we can't get through with the Lord's help!
