TomsSVX, you seem to be the only one that doesnt get my point.

I have made repeated attempts to talk to you but frankly I don't get you.

Just forget it okay.

And thanks for not bashing me this time. I respect you. I don't get you but I respect you.

If only my job didnt require me to sit in front of a PC all day...

If you can look at the XT6 and SVX side by side and NOT see the similarities, you are legally blind.

Re: Is this attached picture an Italian car ? Yes it is.

No. I do see a great similarity. Its obvious that the XT and SVX came from Subaru .

However they look very, very different also. The SVX does not just look like the next gen of the XT. It looks like someone else got their hands involved.

What likely happened is Subaru, like Ford with the Mustang, approached the Italians and said, "Here is our existing XT/Mustang. Our guys inhouse have a design for the next gen however we want to see what you can do because we want something really, really special that our guys dont seem to be able to do".

The most basic reason to explain the difference without getting too technical or historical is the XT is an 80s wedge car, the SVX is a 90s squashed bubble.

It's triangle versus oval.

My point is even if ItalDesign were not involved the next Alcyone car would have deviated in a very similar manner.

If you would like for me to tell you the greatest similarity between the two, they are the only two cars in the world that have been dubbed "Alcyone", VX/VR and SVX respectively. They are considered the same lineage.

BTW poll is biased.

Speaking of choppers, I had the recent privilege of being equidistant from both an army helicopter and some kind of road paving machine (the points of us sort of forming an equilateral triangle), the paver was about 3 times more noisy than the hovering chopper. I was somewhat impressed.

The same way whoever owns the most stock in a company has the biggest lean on it's future.

Someone with a lot of stock had a really big vote that the rest of us card holders can't match.

I'm with Tom. confused and struggling with the tone of this whole thing, and I haven't ever seen anthonybuchanan before so I'm pretty sure I don't have a bias
