Unhappy Engine shutting off

'92 shuts off while driving. No hesitation or noise, lights, radio, etc stay on. Wouldn't even know it wasn't running except for losing power steering. After it shuts off, you can start it right back up. Any ideas?

I would vote MAF first off. But you'd know it, it would sometimes not start back up. If you have a manual trans, that might be it. It occurs occationally where the compression of the engine, when you press in the clutch from high rpm, it'll drop down low, then not recover, and simply stall.

Automatic, and there's no hesitation or anything. I've had the MAF go bad before, and the car ran badly.

I would suspect MAF as well.
