Sway Bar Ends

Anyone know anything about swaybar end bushings. Looks like the rear swaybar has end bushings where it connects to the link assembly. Are polyurethane replacements available for them? Does anyone have a source? Can't find front swaybar end bushings, looks like the front swaybar is bolted directly to the swaybar lever. Any recommendations?

i dont know exactly because i have not messed with mine yet but i do know they are made. but you have to cut down the poly to make them fit i think. 16mm is the size i also think. kind of a custom mcgyver job. i heard this makes a big difference in roll. im sure someone will responed to this thread. if not pm chike he has done this.

I saw that post, and it addresses the swaybar locating bushings (Subaruparts.com no. 20414b id17 for the rear and no. 20414b id18 front), rather than end bushings. I also read Mychailo's posts and website article on swaybar bushings. The Energy Suspension Part nos. for greasable bushings appear to be 9.5121 for the rears and 9.5122 for the fronts. The front swaybar doesn't seem to have end bushings. The lever bolts directly to the end of the swaybar. The front swaybar link assembly (Subaruparts.com no. 20420) may have integral bushings, but I don't know if they can be replaced with urethane. The rear has end bushings (Subaruparts.com no. 20464A). I was just wondering if anyone made these bushings in urethane. (Note the Subaruparts.com part numbers are as shown on the diagram. They come up differently when you order them.) In any event, I am probably going to order one of the OEM rear swaybar end bushings and the front link assembly just to measure them and see if urethane substitutes can be found.

No bushings are commercially available, but you shouldn't have any problem having the stock bushings pressed out and replaced with polyurethane.....or aluminum
(not that I would have replaced them with aluminum....that would be wrong... )

i just ordered some from summit to go well with the gc koni ordeal. i ordered the 9.5105g front one to do the same as chike on the install (cause it looked way more beefer and the spacer mych used i didnt want to make) and the rear part #was 9.5121g mych said was a direct fit and i didnt want to order from svx planet cause they were selling all four and i just needed the rear.
