swap in TCU?
well after all the hell of putting in my tranny it flares big time when shifting. I called the place I got it from and they said that it only has 18k miles on it and when they drove it, it ran fine. He said it might be the brain. I dont see any codes or anything for it to be my tcu. Maybe I have to switch it over? I know I had to switch over the inhibitor switch then my car started. Will it directly fit in or do I have to do some mods? How can it flare so bad????

The flare suggests a loose brake band. Do a search under 'brake band' and tighten yours up.

OK, I removed the resistor and the shifts were perfect, but under high load theres still some flare from the 2-3 so I am definitely going to attempt the brake band adjustment or take it to a dealer
