p/s pump

I have a '92 SVX LSL. How do I determine if my P/S pump is engine speed sensing or electronically conrtolled? What kind of things do I need to look for when buying a P/S pump?

All LS-L's and LSi's have speed sensitive steering.

Here's a link to SubaruParts with a list of parts/numbers for speed sensitive steering:

Steering

If you have the STEERING light it has it- easiest way to check!
Both the pump and rack are different between the 2 systems.
good luck!
