outcome of repairs
Well i flew down to my brothers place last week and did the coil packs change over and it went really easily no major problems changing over and of course it was the last one out that was the dud! but the problem was caused would you believe by the dealer. At the last service when they changed the plugs they damaged the rubber insulator on the end of the coil pack (hey presto it starts missing ) and they had the hide to tell him btw you've got another coil on the way out!.I am sending a rather terse email to subaru Australia shortly. Anyway the new parts fixed the problem as it should and we did the front pads while there. the total parts cost was $725 AU for coils and new front pads and about 2 hours. So thanks for your help sussing it all out .
Btw we took a new liberty B spec manual for a test drive and boy do they haul :0 although they are only go less than half a sec quicker than the SVX theyre fun but at $55k au they're a bit dear how much are they over there? regard camo |
