I have Toca, Pro race driver, and GT3 i think both have there advatages. I like the braking, the car view, the damage, the fact your racing for a team, and the computers you race are aculy smart and dont jsut plow into you and they get revenge. But GT3 i think has better physiscs, (the AWD ones in toca just fell weird) you fell so connected to the car you know whats it going to do, but i hate the views, and the computers piss me off.

But GT4 is going to have the compete Nurburgring so its going to have to be good.

Earthworm, you play R: Racing Evolution on a PS2? I tried it and couldn't get the car to handle worth a damn. I tried changing all the setting and that didn't work either. I gave it to a friend of mine who is a master of car games and he hated it as well. I played TOCA 2 on his PC and it is incredible.

XBOX actually. I've been trying most of the racing games for the XBOX. I like PGR (aka Metropolis Street Racer) and Sega GT 2002. I also like R Racing Evolution for it's originality. It is a little tough to handle the cars but I also think this would be closer to realism. (ie. not just full throttle/brake all the time)

I'm still a fan of the entire Colin McRae Rally series.

(Any racing game with an SVX in it is good in my books )

That maybe the difference. On PS2 R: absolutely sucks! So far no Xbox driving game really impressed me. GT2002 wasn't bad and Gotham 2 wasn't worth the hype. I'd like to try TOCA, but the PC version of TOCA 2 is beyond belief. I can't wait for GT4.

Just like GT3 it will probley be pushed back a friken year and you forget about when it comes out.

It's already been delayed a considerable amount. GT4 was supposed to be out this spring.

It happens. The last game I worked on got delayed by 8 months.

Anyone know about the AI in GT4? Will it be more like Pro Race Driver? I can't stand GT3 for that reason alone...it's so annoying that they just drive around in a line, and never jockey for position, and never ever EVER make mistakes. It's completley unrealistic.
