I think the point is that it's easier to institute change now then wait till we are on 360 days of oil left. It's better to do it when you can evolve it rather then instantly implement it with the resulting chaos. Better to be prepared.

Not to bring back a dead horse for more beating, but after reading the recent post on the "Freedom Tower" petition, I was reminded of a conversation I had recently with a teller at one of the banks I do work for. Her uncle works in DC area as a lawyer and drives past the Pentagon everyday on his way to his office. On the day of the attack, 9/11, he was stuck in traffic right next to the Pentagon and on the phone with a coworker letting them know he was going to be late when that attack occured. He watched the plane come in low and smash into the side of the Pentagon. The fuel and fumes form the explosion were so bad that he ended up having to trash his Lexus because the smell was so ingrained into his car and could not be fumigated that just sitting in it made one nausious. The plane literally collided right in plain view of him. His car did not get blown off of the road like the jackass that came up with that video claimed would happen. Any one who buys into the whole missle theory can just stick it up yer arse. A lot of good, innocent lives were lost in that one moment and this is how the public tries to twist things around to suit their slanted politics... stupid people.

Ok I'm throughing the flag on the field. That is complete and utter bull. Considering I was there just after. I saw with my own eyes what the area looked like. There was damage to the area around the building. How hard is it to create something like that? All the creater had to do was omit any pictures or testamonies that didnt support his/her ideals. The crash caused total confusion. We were getting all kinds of crazy info. Some reports had even said that it was the capital building and others reported it was the white house. If your wondering were I was, I was on a Coast Guard cutter locking down the Potomac river for almost the entire time the clean up was taking place. Try living on a ship for 5 months that is only designed to sustain it's crew for a max of 4 weeks.

So are you saying that the plane never hit it, or are you saying that it did???

First... try throwing the bullsh*t flag...

You were in a river.... try it out in the middle of real water for 6 months... nothing stays fresh for more than 3 weeks at sea... (including sailors...)

Why do Coasties have to be over six feet tall?

so they can walk to shore if the boat sinks

The only good Marine.... is a submarine

(remember the old days of inter service rivalry?) it's all in fun

A plane did hit. And I have spent 6+ months at sea. You got to love the supplies from Gitmo. Everything smells like emboming(sp.) fluid. It's just wrong. Milk should not be yellow.
