The Curse Strikes Again

Well, I fixed my transmission, the cursed ardub legacy transmission. repaired the damaged wire for the shift solenoid. closed it up. Opened it up and attached the manual rod that i forgot to attach. IT WORKED!!! beautifuly, it was faster than before, and i took it out for a drive. On my way back, in the middle of the drive, i ended up back to only 3rd gear!!!

i used a crimp splice to connect the wires, and i'm thinking that somethign happened to it. is there any reason that that splice would've come undone in there?

is there a better way to splice the wire back together that wouldn't come undone?

And heat shrink tubing.
