If anyone desires a hotel room for this meet, please PM me (especially those who dare join us from the East!). I am a hotel Manager in the Tech Center (DTC)/ Englewood area. I will give those you are coming to this event an employee rate if you happen to be coming from out of town. (Mt. Evans is an about 70 minutes from Englewood).

So, what is the official date and destination for this meet? Is it still tentatively-sp? Mt. Evans around Aug 23rd?
That works for me, I was just wondering if that was still the current plan. Hopefully, I can get that new radiator that's on ebay right now and get the 92 going.....then I can bring both my SVXi.

For sure on Saturday Aug. 23rd. Time and meeting location still will be determined. I would think that we should be up at the top of Mt. Evans no later than 1:00 p.m. (to avoid stormy weather!) Assuming that all goes well, we will have definite plans in the next week or so. I will keep them posted on this thread. We are always open for ideas too!

OK, Here's a preliminary plan (although we have not yet decided on a definite meeting time on Saturday morning, ideally we will meet at 9:00 a.m.):
We will plan on meeting in the Walmart Parking lot at the Evergreen exit 252 off of I-70 on Saturday morning. We will plan on taking HWY 103 West through Bergen Park up to Echo Lake (Approx. 45 minutes). At Echo Lake we will continue to the top of Mt. Evans. Appears to be a $10 entrance fee (see this link: http://www.mtevans.com/ME-PlanningAccessFees.HTML ) After loosing our breaths!  , we will continue to head West on HWY 103 to Idaho Springs. We were thinking about ending up at Ten Day Jacks which is a beer and wine pub. in Idaho Springs. (exact address will be posted shortly). (All adults and children are welcome!). We will plan on getting pizza from Beau Jo's and eating at Ten Day Jacks.I will host maps in my locker as soon as a definite plans are made! Colorado Meet ( in class 'till noon )
I would love to attend. It looks like I have class that day until 12:00. I'd still like to try to catch up with y'all none-the-less. I suspect I'll be starting upgrade when you are all heading back down. We'll probably get to the BAR on time. (Imagine that!?)
