Spark plugs

Okay, I need to know how the #uck you remove the Spark plug that is all the way in the back on the drivers side of the engine bank. I've removed and replaced the other 5 but I cant get the 6th one.PPPLLEEEAAASSEE HHHEEEELLLLPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going #ucking nuts!

BTW I'll make one more attempt tomarrow when I actually remove my LF tire and just use that tiny #ucking panal but the previous owner put some #uCkinG BONDO over it!!. arrgh!! damn moron! but It should'nt be too break, I have enough sharp objects to get me through. Still a sparkpark change should'nt be this hard.

I just replaced my spark plugs 2 weeks ago. You better have alot of patientence. Brains not brauns. I put in Bosch Platinum Plus 4, they rock in the SVX. But here is the link I used. Good luck.

I think you need to investigate a little "wheel like thing" that fits up to a 3/8" drive extension. I wish I knew it's name, I think I got mine at sears. It's basically a square 3/8" drive fitting connected with a knurled circle about 1.5" in diameter so you can use your fingers to turn a socket.

here's the process I used: put a 3" extension on the spark plug socket. put this on the spark plug. get a rachet onto the extension and use it to free up the plug. take rachet off extension. Use small "wheel" thing to get plug all the way un-threaded. Had to follow this procedure because rachet couldn't get plug out without contacting body before plug was fully loose.

reverse process to install. my engine was overnight cold during all this of course.

I got it out with a standard ratchet and a 3" extension.

I did, however, had to let the ratchet sit "loosely" on the extension (i.e. not snapped in) so that I could remove the ratchet and using the hand to turn the extension. Otherwise, the ratchet would have been pinched against the frame of the car.

I'm pretty sure that I just used a 3" extension, as well. I did not need the little access hole through the wheel well.

It is called a palm ratchet. They rock. I have the Snap On fine tooth units.

Maybe he was referring to a spinner, a flat disc with a square hole in the center and a knurled edge, that just clicks in between the extension and the ratchet?

Did you gap your plus 4's???? Doh!!!!!!!!!!..................................... ...........Just a joke, you don't gap them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bosch tells you they are factory set already and do not need gapping! Good Job!

Why would I gap them, I already knew that@!
