timing belt

I was told that the SVX is not a "0" clearance motor. Valves will not smash if belt breaks .. True or False

Technically it is valve to valve interference. There could be no contact if the timing belt breaks or slips. Since each cam shaft is connected to the other with a gear, the only way to cause contact between valves is if the the cam shafts are misaligned on assembly, or if a valve sticks.
