New Shoes...

There is nothing like having not one, but TWO brand new (broken in) tires on your ride. I am loving the fast lean in and over all better feel!

What's that gorgeous bike behind that shine new piece of plastic?

I guess you have some decent tire choices for the Bmmer. Best I could get was Battleax Bt-45s. Kinda like a duel compound version of the RE92. Good but not great esp. considering I'll need to replace 'em every year.

Metzeler Z6s is what I put on it.

The front was a fairly new Battlax.... UGH.

Behind it is one of my stepfathers many collectibles.

Its a Honda CB750 in need of minor repair/cleanup.

He also has several other Hondas... SL125, XL250, CB100, CB125 and a few others in parts... waiting to be rebuilt.

The CB100 got first place in an Atlanta show several years back and the 750 was in honorable mention in the same show.

His daily riders are a 2007 BMW R 1200 GS and a Honda VFR Interceptor Anniversary Edition.

I'm sure that 750 is worth a pretty penny in today's market. If he has a CB160 or 175 you should pick it up for a good mileage bike. I'm averaging about 70-75mpg on mine now even with home carb syncing! It's tough getting back on my Nighthawk after riding a bike that weighs in at 400 and change with me on it!

He doesnt have a 160 or 175... mostly the smaller street/dual purpose/offroad bikes. I think he has 2 SL125s...

My BMW is 468 pounds by itself! Throw me on there and well... you know

I used to ride the CB125 to school back in the day. I light bike is so fun to throw around. He was talking about turning the CB125 into a racer and doing some local stuff with it. He imagines no one at these races could possibly have a straight face.

Yeah its a blast to ride the small stuff and actually be able to use 100% of it everyday! I don't think I'll get to it this year but next year I'm hoping to do the lake erie loop. A sub 200cc race around lake erie (all 670 miles of it). Record time is from a CB175 with a 200 engine in it. 10 hours 30 minutes. That's moving considering you need to go through a couple of cities!
