SVX Replacement

I Know, I know - there's no replacement for an SVX. The thing I miss the most is the sound of the flat six with Stebro resonating off the walls of buildings as I drove by. Best of all, running it to redline while under a bridge overpass.

Anyway, here's what I'm driving now. I get 31 MPG on my commute when I'm driving like a good citizen, but it'll go like stink when I feel like it.

I'm sure I'll have another SVX someday - once you've had one and know how to work on them, they get under your skin. I'd like a 96 or 97 with the tan interior next. TTFN

Sweet! Those things are so nice! Not a SVX... but still really nice!

Always lurking

Only if you call logging in almost 2 or 3 times every day and reading almost all new posts lurking - or does that border on stalking!
Bobby, drop me a line when you're in town - a SVX fix is just what the doctor ordered. I should have the diesel Rabbit restored by then.

Nope - A3 Sportback. Because it's a 'wagon', my insurance rates are lower.
