Transmission Fluid

Gotta give props to the fellows at Subaru that included the AT Temp idiot light. You know the one.....it lights up when you start the car. That is one idiot light that I am thankful for.....lol

Yep, that's a purdy little light. Nope, never heard of anybody seeing it come on before their tranny went to he77! Me included.

I don't have the service manuals anymore, so I can't confirm this. I seem to remember seeing in there that the light is supposed to come on at something like 345 degrees F. And yes, to the best of my recollection, nobody has ever seen it come on while driving.
