New car thoughts...
So with school starting..and me having to commute to school, i think that maybe getting a newer more reliable car would be a good idea. I will be working full time with my classes at night, so I just have to see how much money i will be making. Im guessing i could do maybe something under 14k, so maybe a '00 legacy or something along those lines. I would sell my baby but with that whole odometer thing idk who would be interested. Im so confused.

We've got a nice blue 00 Legacy L in stock, and also some 98's and 99's that are very nice.

What's unreliable about the SVX? I mean, yeah, the transmission might die, but other than that, I've found it to be a very reliable car. And honestly, even if I was a millionare, I'd STILL have the SVX around for bad weather (snow, heavy rain, etc). It's a great car!

Rob....
I think you're right. For now I'm just gonna do my thing at school and work, save up some money, and see what happens. Thanks for the enlightenment. I was thinking of looking into an srt4 though I think they're sweet.

New car thoughts
Food for thought. My 03 Legacy GT with 1200 miles now has spent more time at the dealer for non maintance work then my 95 SVX with 141k on the odo ever has. Plus it is quite lacking in quality of materials and build quality when compared to my other 3 subies. The Legacy price range your looking at is one that if money is tight I'd stay away from anyways, unless you're able/proficent at changing head gaskets. To have this done at a dealer a couple times is almost as much as a new svx tranny.
