Still aiming to finish my car and drive it out from Oregon. Taking two weeks off. If I can't, I will fly in. We'll see!

Sadly, I think I am taking myself off the list.

I had a major family issue come up, which has been taking most of my attention the past couple weeks, and is expanding, so I will not be able to make it out.

Still planning on attending however it'll be sans SVX. Was really hoping to debut my 92 6-speed, but it's just up to a long-distance road trip at this time. I had also considered bringing my 96 but of course now a recent binding issue (suspect duty solenoid) has developed and again would be a major risk taking long distance.

With all that said, I still plan to attend in my Mazda. It'll be great to connect with some svxer's and frankly nice to see other SVX's, other than mine!

Mike - sorry to hear about your family issue, hope all is ok and wishing you and yours all the best. With Mike unable to make it, who'll be taking the lead in terms of event planning (hotel, lunch/dinner, local events to attend?) or are we all just winging it?

Yes, I noticed that as well, will have to keep an eye on it. Have to admit, I'm not too keen on driving to a rain soaked meet. My car's in great shape, tires are newer and excellent in the rain and snow, just worried more about other drivers.

I don't like getting Midori's finish rained on. John took such great care it. Also, nobody likes wet Italian pastr.y

'Tis true. So, are you all not going? I am still thinking of going, but not in the SVX. If my '92 were still functional (hasn't run in a year) I would put it on the road in the rain, no problem. But your Bordeaux Pearl '97 and mine are literally the only ones I've ever seen in person; would rather not take the risk driving that far in the rain.

Dave and I will be there.
I heard there is a BBQ competition at the mall, there's the Hollywood casino across the way, there's going to be at least 2-4 of us there 😁 (not sure how accurate the Feb attendance list is)
As for rain... it wouldn't be a Reading meet without it, an I right?
