Just another HID question.
I'm getting ready to order a HID kit from DDM Tuning.
The 5000k low beam kit is what I'm after. The question is, 35w or 55w?  Thanks.

Stick with the 35W. That is what most of us use. Much less chance of frying our old wiring. 55W ballasts work harder for not a lot more increase in output. That means they don't last as long. Plis thee have been reports of unwanted glare associated with the 55W.
55W HID bulbs are more expensive locate to replace if needed and you cannot use a 35W bulb with a 55W ballast. In newer cars with OEM HIDs, modern lenses and projectors designed for them and modern wiring, 55W would be okay. In our retrofit plug-and-play, 35W is more than fine. You won't be disappointed. .

I use 35w low beams and 55w high beams.
IMO, the 55w would be too bright for low beams.
