Re: Cross Country Feeler

Tom,
My offer still stands when you get into the Los Angeles area. People tell me that my livingroom sofa is comfortable to sleep on, and as an automotive writer, I know about everything that's happening, car-wise, in the LA area. Might even be able to pull together a few local SVXi for some kind of get-together.
Let me know,
Paul
ps - If the timing works, press days at the Los Angeles International Auto Show are Nov. 19-20. I can get you in.
P.

Re: Cross Country Feeler

If you're on your way through Iowa and need a place to crash, you're more than welcomed to hold down my couch for a night. I'm not sure I know of any SPECIFIC work we could do on the car, but I'm sure I could think of something.

Maybe if you could provide a 4.11 rearend, we could finally get my 4.11 tranny in. *scratches chin* Something to consider anyway.

I'm not used to paying someone to help me though, usually I do all my work myself. lol

I have 2 4.11 rears... Both brand new. One with the SVX LSD conversion done already and one that is non LSD

Ooh, do you really? Well I'd like to keep the LSD working, now that you mention it. What kinda price would I be looking at on the LSD unit? If nothing else, you're still welcomed to stop by and sleep here if you need a place to crash, and you could just bring the diff. along...??

yea I bought the rears new with the new transmissions I had... Used one in an SVX for about 20 miles before I realized the new transmissions were 3.90 and not 4.11. So I have the rear with the LSD all setup and ready to bolt in. I would like $300 for the LSD unit and $200 for the other new diff

Re: Cross Country Feeler

Tom - I am only 4 miles out of Burlington, so that is close enough for the route.

I'm just south of Portland on the 5, too bad you aren't bringing the SVX! Would be cool to have a couple of fine Oregon microbrews and chat though...

Tom, I've gone into full swing getting the garage cleaned out and ready for what has turned into quite a job on my SVX.

Should have plenty of room and facilities here for you to work and that way I can drop in and out and learn a thing or two while it goes on. We've got the guest room ready for you too.

98272 for your map.
