ditto. I use 1500 grit wet, and sand the bajeesus out of them untill I cant see, feel, hear, or taste any imperfections in the lense. Then, they get buffed out with a heavy rubbing compound, thenagain with a finer compound...Then I polish them with Mcquire's plast-x before finishing them off with a few coats of wax

Any yellow left after THAT is onthe inside...which means you need to cook the headlights, seperate them, and use compound on the INSIDE. Its a major pain, becuase of the shape of the reflector things in the lense..they catch all the compound

I used mothers polishing compound on a buffer, my lenses have stayed pretty clear for about 5 months now.

I've used toothpaste on my motorcycle windshield. It works but is slow & dries very quickly.

Plast-x & a powerball not a bad combo; after you get the yellow out. Still takes a lot of elbow grease.

I've opened mine multiple times to scrub them, but I think the next time I shall sand mine down because the yellow haze comes back every 3 months or so. I didn't realize how yellow my lights were until I got the brand new JDM clear corners, so now it's my goal to get lights that match it

I had actually done the left and right sides separate from each other and was very excited to get a picture to show the difference. Unfortunately, I was even more excited to get the front end all clear again.

Agreed. But, I will post some pics anyway. You can see a slight difference. Since I bought the car (the Claret) in 2005, I've tried many of the methods posted here. Sadly they would only last a few months. So I tried one more method recently. CLEAR COAT. So far so good. Only time will tell if it lasts or not.

Before (no headlight treatment at all):

After the clear coat:

Ignore the cap and the glare.

As quoted, you won't see much of a difference.

still waiting on my caliper...
