New Bypass Ideas and Questions
After reading the threads of ol' I had some questions. Why not use a Impreza or Adjustable FPR and tap into stock O2 sensors (yes I know they are narrowband, but should suffice) and use a real bypass and maybe a SAFC as a ghetto Stage 2 as mentioned earlier. I never got a sense of a final answer. Thanks for your help though

you do realize what that is for right?? That is if you have a cold air intake and hit a puddle. The bypass will open and allow air to flow in from there rather than suck up water and seize your engine.
The SAFCII is cool and all but there really is not beating the stage 2. I say this from experience that you will have little to no luck trying to tune your car based on narrowband AFR readings. Not to mention over time you will have to Re-Tune the SAFC because the ECU will learn to over ride it. Trust me, the stage2v6 will be worth your investment Tom |
