I left the note in the front door of the building. I know who the guy is because his lot used to be right across the street from my house growing up. He's a real junk dealer and not the friendliest in the world. I just want to get this SVX away from him ASAP. I almost hate to part it because the body is still so good(except the ugly paint job)and so is the interior and it's a relatively early model. I might give it a week to sell on here minus the engine and parts I need, But if nobody grabs it up whole, I'm parting it.

Possible good news. I just thought about it and check the AOL yellow pages and it turns out this guy has 2 other phone numbers and addresses. One addy is right next door to where the car is and the other one is about a mile away from there at another lot he has that I totally forgot about. I'll find out something ASAP and let you guys know.

The only pics I have are in my locker but none of the parts car. I'll try to go by there by friday and get some pics of it. Hopefully I'll be able to take the pics in my own driveway on friday, cause that or monday will be the day I buy it if I do. I'm just hoping this guy doesn't know what he has and will let it go for 500$ or less. I'm not going to pay much over that for it considering I probally can't drive it plus it's sitting on 4 shredded tires. I might bring up the fact I know it's been sitting for 3 years if I think it will bring the price down.

I'm workin' on it though, as always.

How is your 4.44? How many miles have you put on now? Did you change your fluid?

I hate to say that mine's still at the shop. Things are not as easy as before over there.

I'm still up probally till 6 or 7. My 4.44's are great other than my motor doesn't seem to think so.

I've put about 4K miles on it now and all is well. I changed my diff fluids a few weeks ago with half 80W90 high performance Valvoline and half lucas 80W90. The tranny got changed when we put it in with Valvoline Maxlife and a new internal filter. I still have to get a new external filter which I'll be doing along with whatever else possible before Reading. I really hope I can get a new motor in before then, Cause it's gonna be embarassing to show up at Reading with a knock in my motor. I really hope it even makes it that long.

First timer. I'm so damn excited and it's starting to drive me nuts with all the work I have that needs done and no where to do it.

It will be more fun to drive your own SVX to follow the group drive thru the beautiful country back roads.

Just a curious question guys, why you call it "Reading"? I don't think you go there and start reading the SVX manuals

... why not call it Group Meet, or Gathering, or something.... but I am not getting the concept of the word "Reading"!
