This project has been postponed indefinately. All my money went to rebuilding my short block in my WRX. I also had to switch out my clutch and get a bigger turbo so there is very little left for the SVX. If I ever finish the 5 speed swap its going to become my daily driver. Right now it's just collecting dust in my garage

Yep... My setup is actually 380f/325r... Porters is 380f/350r.... We went with a lower springrate in the rear on my car because porter's had a tendancy to want to drift into oversteer if you flung it around agressivly (as he always did )

We may be working on something that might interest you guys, we have all the parts, the engine only has 800 miles on it. Its just started on the paint, we have the paint just waiting for the body work. Once it is done it should be able to beat a sti.

so u want to drop a 2.5turbo into an SVX?? Funny though that no one has followed through with it yet but still confuses me as to why not just use the EG33 as a base?? I mean you have a good motor with plenty of displacement abd it will require just as much if not less fabrication to make it work... Phil had it right and did a good job of it.

Agreed, with the right amount of work the 3.3L can be mightier. I personally would rather keep the boxer 6 over a 4. More displacement and potential. Everything on the EG33 is large, the throttle body is huge, the intake runners are big, and the exhaust manifolds are well engineered. I'm with Tom and rather see a big boost Boxer 6 than a EJ25T transplant.

I'm not too sure about this, but I believe someone on this site already done a sti swap. He lives here in hawaii. I talked to some of the guys here in I-club and they said he cruises with them now and then. They said they saw the sti engine in there. They said it was a Claret one. Could it be this one? I'm not sure, I'm just putting 2 and 2 together...

from what I've heard no one has done it. Those wheels look 5x114, but thats just me, i don't know if he just swapped the engine. what we are doing is much more in depth
