Hood/trunk struts
Does anyone know if it's possible to recharge or repressurize the trunk and/or hood struts? I have spare pairs of both sitting in my garage that would love to be useful again.

THIS is the only way as far as I know (With the compliments of gsodonis)
It should also be put under the <$100 mods.

Also to note, there has not been a proper strut found to be used for the trunk hatch that lets it open the full 90 degrees like it does stock. The only way to have it open properly is with new ones from the dealer.

Well I guess there is a better aftermarket strut that need to be found.
Those that gsodonis used come from the 95 Chrysler Concorde hood struts.

If you give up on finding a way to recharge them (I wouldnt bother) do not use the higher rated struts in the how too. The 120# struts require a lot of effort to lower the hood and will eventually break the pivot point on the mount. Just one will hold the hood up!
