Another manual button question
Ok I did search and found out some of the questions I wanted answerd.
These ones i couldnt find info on. Is it ok to use manual button all the time? Like it doesnt do any damage? ( My auto is shot in 2nd. Ive found It doent slip as bad If manual button is left on. ) Also would you get better fuel eccommity If you left It manual mode? Thanks

The reason I ask is because Manual mode forces the TCU to skip using 1st and start off in 2 range all the time. If 2 was "shot" as you say, you might expect this to lead to more slippage, rather than less. Trevor used to say it was better for economy to use Manual all the time. There are less gearchanges, plus also the map employs quick up-changes, so you are always using less revs. I would say depending on your driving style it could prove to be economical, but I would expect the car to feel sluggish and not be much fun to drive. Re: Another manual button question
you don't want to drive with the manual button on all the time. It will leave you relying on clutch packs that aren't up for continuous duty. Take a look at the fsm. Things are designed to work the way they are designed to work. You should only use the manul button in the rare instances you want to avoid inconvenient shifts.
