Do Mazda RX 8 rims fit on the svx? what size tires?

According to Tirerack.com (the first quick reference I could think of) the RX-8 runs 225/45/18's on an 18x8 rim. This would be too tall for an SVX. It would fit your wheel well, but would cause ~5% error on your speedo. The correct tire size for an 8" wide rim for us is 255/35/18.

Yep, they work, but you need hubcentric rings as the wheel holes are bigger than the SVX. These can be found from Ebay sellers and as I recall they are 56mmX63mm, but you should measure that to verify. SVX lug nuts do not work. And the smaller tire size is recommended.
